Steroid cream for eczema affects growth?

I am 15 years old

I have very bad eczema and i have been using steroid cream for 2 years... (elecon) does this mean i cannot grow anymore??????!?!?!?!|||No, it doesn%26#039;t mean you won%26#039;t grow.

But steroid creams do damage the skin, and the longer you use them, the worse the damage is. It actually thins the skin and causes ageing of the skin.

It%26#039;s very hard not to use them though because they work quite quickly. But they are not addressing the cause of your eczema. Eczema is often cause by nutrient deficiencies - especially Omega 3 - which can be found in oily fish such as salmon.

There are also topical creams you can use that don%26#039;t damage the skin. Coal tar works well for a lot of people. I have had it called LPC in Aqueous Cream (coal tar mixed with moisturizer). Some people also swear by pawpaw ointment and goats milk soaps.|||I don%26#039;t think you should be taking steroid cream for a

long time like that
